Meet Raichel
Raichel Green is a highly experienced mental health clinician who has lived and worked on the Central Coast of NSW for 25 years.
She has worked in the public and private mental health systems, in both acute mental health and community settings, as well as for non-government organisations in Australia and overseas. She is a former Director of Social Work for NSW Health and has held senior management positions in public mental health services.
Raichel is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a member of The Australian Association of Social Workers. Over her two-plus decades of experience, she has gained qualifications and skills in a wide variety of evidence-based therapies, and tailors each treatment plan to patients' individual needs.
Raichel has a passion for working with people who have experienced trauma in childhood and as adults. She has extensive experience specialising in the treatment of trauma as an accredited Dialectical Behavioural Therapist (DBT and RO-DBT) and accredited Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR). This ensures that people coming to see Raichel for trauma treatment are provided with a comprehensive trauma treatment service that address the three phases of trauma treatment (stabilisation, processing, and integration) without needing to be referred to another therapist.
